About this Facility
Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc., recognizes the need for a variety of treatment services for patients experiencing problems with substances of abuse and/or mental illnesses. We provide a full continuum of quality outpatient, substance abuse and mental health services, from least intensive to most intensive.
Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc. believes that treatment is effective for many people and can decrease the use of alcohol, drugs, reduce criminal activity, and increase mental and physical health, productivity and employment. For some people, brief interventions can be effective, while others require more intensive services and sometimes multiple treatment episodes. The key to effective treatment is to match individual patients with the intervention most appropriate for them, something rarely done. Early identification and treatment of substance abuse and mental health problems increases the chances of successful recovery and rehabilitation. We provide the professional assistance and guidance in detecting and resolving the many problems that are often the result of substance abuse and mental illness; financial drain, legal problems, broken families and marriages, loss of employment and medical problems. Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc. believes that substance abuse and mental health problems are treatable diseases, which can successfully respond to professional intervention. We specialize in the treatment of substance abusers and the mentally ill by providing the professional psychiatric and/or drug and alcohol evaluation and assessment services that can help patients find the right treatment program for their specific needs. All programs are culturally sensitive and are offered as bilingual services for those patients more comfortable with a Spanish- speaking counselor.

Only been going here for a month and these reviews have all proved true. They got me in the door quickly, but aside from that the staff has been extremely rude and treat me like a criminal even though I came here because I wanted a better life.

I have only been going here for about month and have already found all of these reviews to be true. Everyone I have dealt with has been condescending and downright rude. I will say that they got me in the door quickly, but the process to get stabilized has been awful and taken far too long. All about the money money money

Insist on watching me pee even though I'm on crutches. They choosing not to give take homes for covid anymore even though the state says they can. There is constantly a large crowd inside. Nobody wears masks anymore, patient or employee. I understand that the mandate is over but if you are going to make me stand in a small room with 25 other people that's not right.

This place is obviously here to make money and treat people like cows at the slaughtering house.
No help is found here.
If you find help it will be within yourself.
These people know more about making idle threats than helping anyone. This is a disgusting example of Connecticut funded crap than needs reform. Connecticut can force you to go here even without due process in court. Gotta love the Constitution being used as toilet paper.
The cherry on top is when you want to file a grievance. You can talk to the director for the location. If you feel that he did not resolve the problem you must speak the the executive director.
Now this is where the fun Is.
They will not give you the information. And the web info gives you his last name but not his first name . Now when you finally find the phone number to cal to try to speak to this executive director. The phone directory is only by first name. So now after finding out him first name the number to call and his email address. Still unreachable. Better luck getting the president of the United States on the phone..fyi after days of effort.
executive director Robert Lambert [email protected] 203-568-7466.Do not go here for help of any kind.

You will be severely disappointed if looking for help. But if looking to waist time, energy, and your life. Then it is the place for you

Avoid at all costs. The lady in charge, Maria, is sicker than the patients. If practicing patience is what you need, then yes go here. You will need a metric ton of it.

Avoid at all costs. Horribly ran. Maria is a psychopath. Classic example of the help being sicker than the patients.

If you can go somewhere else, please do. They do not care about you or your sobriety. Maria changes the rules whenever it is convenient for her and can't remember what she says on a day to day basis.
