The Flatbush Addiction Treatment Center provides outpatient substance abuse services to adult men and women 18 and over. The primary goals of the program are to help individuals establish sobriety and reduce the negative consequences of alcohol and substance abuse and dependence. Additionally, the program is designed to help those suffering from addiction to function
independently and with an enhanced sense of self in the larger community. Services provided include individual therapy and group therapy covering the following areas: relapse prevention, anger management, health education, art therapy, alcohol and drug education, dual-diagnosis groups, employment services and parenting skills. AA, NA and DWI groups are also provided on site.
Develops effective responses to human need and joins with all people of good will in advocating for a social order which promotes justice and embraces human development.
