For more than six decades, Brighton Center for Recovery has treated people suffering from addiction, and we have tended to their affected friends and family members. We have always evaluated new and emerging treatment approaches so we can continue to offer the best treatment available for alcoholic and drug addicts. Our treatment approach is based on abstinence. We help people reach stable and lifelong recovery without the use of any habit-forming substances.People treated here succeed by embracing a 12-Step program for recovery (Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous). They develop life skills through proven treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family therapy. We do not offer opiate maintenance treatment or other mood-altering medications to treat the symptoms of addiction. Our position on the use of such medications is consistent with our approach to recovery.
