The Center is dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults and their families through the provision of compassionate, comprehensive mental and behavioral health services. The Center is committed to helping adults overcome the challenges of mental illness and substance abuse in order to achieve a meaningful and fulfilling lifestyle with their families and extended community.
Established in 1999 Advanced Behavioral Care Services has been serving Lakewood and the surrounding communities for over 20 years
About The Center
We provide adult partial care and intensive outpatient programs that are dedicated to your personal growth and empowerment.
Whether challenged with Mental Illness, Substance Abuse or Co-occurring disorders The Center offers a wide array of therapeutic, educational and social services that provide individualised treatment toward recovery and wellness management. These services are designed to orient our clients toward empowerment, optimism and independence.
Mental Health Programs
Our team, comprising of medical and other clinical professionals, engages our clients in the treatment of disorders such as major depression, generalized anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder and others

Substance Use Disorders
The Center provides treatment services that assist individuals who are struggling with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). These services allow our clients to develop the skills and support necessary to attain sobriety, allowing them to experience a fuller life, in a sustainable manner.
Our Services
Partial care
The partial care program (sometimes referred to as Partial Hospitalization or PHP) is a 5-day a week outpatient program offering comprehensive services for Mental Health.
Along with the clinical treatment services, the program also provides daily breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
Intensive OutPatient
The Intensive OutPatient program (IOP) is for individuals who have a primary diagnosis of Substance Use Disorder although they can have co-occurring Mental Health symptoms.
The program is provided during daytime hours of 9:00 am to 12:00 on Monday thru Friday to residents of Ocean County & Monmouth County NJ.
