In recovery from addiction or alcoholism it is quite helpful to your overall wellbeing if you engage in activities and hobbies. There us research suggesting that regular exercise will greatly reduce an individual’s levels of stress and promote feelings of wellness. I would have to say, yes exercising in recovery is very important, for your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health.
