I completed rehab about 8 months ago but relapsed three weeks ago. I already feel my life getting out of control again. Is it normal to need to do rehab more than once? I feel as if I failed but relapsing.
Addiction is a brain disease, so it is not uncommon for someone to relapse. Many people end up going to rehab multiple times before obtaining lasting sobriety or recovery. You definitely did not fail by relapsing. It takes a lot of determination and leveling of pride to come back for help after a relapse. Addiction does not allow for choice of whether to use or not. Never stop fighting for you life!
Do I need to accept Jesus for recovery?
I have a problem with people pushing Jesus on me when all I want is to stop drinking - A friend of mine says it's the only way... is that true?
So my dad is an alcoholic and I wanted to know if you could die from alcohol withdrawals?
