This place can't handle the workload. Most psychiatrists here have no clue what they are doing. They base there practice off of assumptions rather than evidence and fact checking. If servicenet truly wants to be innovative than they should listen honestly to what there patients want, rather than what the corporate people from servicenet want. Here is something I have to say about servicenet and the community of Northampton. Why is there so little criticism of this organization? Why do the people of western massachusetts let a charity organization dominate the mental health scene around here? Our mental/behavioral health care in this country should not be run by charities. It is like a system of servicenet getting donations which funds there programs, that creates profit for servicenet(when they claim to be nonprofit), and then the money they profit is donated to the higher ups and other charities. So for servicenet to be recognized as a non profit is quite the cover up. I understand most of the therapists and psychiatrists here have degrees, but who is overseeing these people? Who is advocating for the patients other than servicenet? Servicenet is not an honest corporation. They could care less about the outcome of their clients. You know what those people on olander drive care about...donations, donations, donations.

I've been going here for many many years now, Has therapist and psychiatrist for children and adults. Not many doctors for the children I believe there is only one doctor here that will see children. They sometimes have groups for DBT skills and therapist that specializes in this area. Check-in staff are okay I really like Lynn she's the best and is on top of everything and has been there for many years. They have three floors ....stairs and an elevator, two entrances one in the front of building and one in the back. They have a parking lot in the back however it's NOT free you have to pay a meter and same in the front but it's on street parking. Parking meter people do their rounds very often trust me make sure you pay or you'll definitely get a ticket. Now they have a parking meter app that lets you pay while inside..makes it easier at times. I know they are open Monday thru Saturday and closes later in evening which helps for those that have busy schedules. Good place if you want or need help majority of the people that work here are very understanding and non-judgmental. I don't know if I'd recommend coming here it's okay not great but that's my own opinion you make think it's great. I guess this is a personal choice so for that wish you luck and hopefully you get the help you need here I know I have been blessed with an amazing therapist.

Do not use this place if you are in a transitionary period! They authorized multiple counseling sessions for me after I moved to the area, and then allowed Tufts (due to errors on their part) to retcon my coverage for several past appointments (that I’d already paid the copay for), all while dangling a prescriber in front of me for months (for medications I was already on before my past prescribed sold up shop without warning). All they did was put me in debt to them for several hundred dollars.

Kinda iffy. The medical records never answer the phone. I left a voicemail every single day for a whole week in a row. They just ignored me with 2 weeks counting now. My therapist is awesome and I just explained to them how relatable the medical records department is like the horrible Northampton VA.
