Food was good. About half the staff was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The social worker, Kelly, lacks knowledge and is very pushy for families to do what she thinks is best. My husband was in detox. We had a plan for outpatient programs and shortly before discharge she spoke to my husband for a few minutes and then insisted to me and our family that inpatient at IBH was the only option that would prove beneficial and that they offered a 30 day program. We opted to follow her suggestion. Once at IBH we were told there is no 30 day program and they were confused over why someone would recommend inpatient there for him. After assessment and a short period of inpatient they quickly recommended to either pursue their PHP or IOP program. Make sure to do your homework and take Kelly’s recommendation with a small grain of salt.
