My son was born here 4 years ago and I must say we were treated with respect and entire staff was compassionate. Although the hospital is a dated they have new technology and constantly updating. We are back here after 4.5 years in pediatrics ER and receiced same support and service. Obviously the wait was there as with any other ER which had a full house but the nurses and ER staff were extremely respectful and efficiently took care of my son when he was in severe pain. There was 1 RN that we didn't like so much because of her upfront bossy attitude but she still cared for our son. Besides that I don't have anything negative to say about this hospital and hope they make more updates to the interior.

When coming to visit a family member I was disrespected and pushed by staff. I entered the door behind my sister, we were told that there is one visitor and there would be no switching. As in we could not switch off in visiting our family member. As I turned to my sister to ask which one of us would stay, female staff working the door at 6:30p on Sunday evening pushed the door against my shoulder, pushing me out of the door. I asked her stop stop pushing me and she kept repeating the 1 visitor rule. I stepped out and through the door asked which of us would stay to visit. I understand the policy and as a healthcare professional myself, I prepared to comply but pushing the door against me is unnecessary and is assault.
