The worst for care! They also give you the runaround when obtaining records. They have to get the "ok" from medical director even if patient signed consent to release any and all. even with Medical POA. Food is horrible.

I would give it 0 stars if possible. First off, it took more than 20 days to get in for intake. IF I would have relied on this time frame to obtain medications I was out of, I’d possibly be in jail or be dead. I went to Northcare in okc who understood the importance of medication for Bipolar 1 and was helped effectively. I continued with my intake appointment to request therapy services more locally. I told both NaN and Trevor multiple times during intake that I already had psychiatric care taken care of, and that I needed a therapist only right now. I was escorted out with a psychiatrist appointment scheduled and no therapist appointment scheduled. In addition, Trevor knew I took Lithium and he said they don’t administer Lithium there. I was also told I needed a letter of denial from SS office to qualify to use pharmacy services, which I may not have for weeks, which is past when I will need meds again. Yet they still did not hear my needs that I was stable with receiving psych and med care from Northcare. When I asked Trevor who schedules therapy appointments, he said he did, but he’ll be gone last week of Feb and to call beginning of March. Why my needs weren’t heard and why a therapy appt wasn’t scheduled the day I went is baffling. And also... when expressing some conflicts my mother and I have, i was met with a response “maybe you’re too sensitive” from Trevor. Clearly, he is not skilled in giving empathy to the mentally ill, regardless of what a certificate says on his wall. I am overall disappointed and not surprised at the high homicide/suicidal rate amongst the most vulnerable population of Lawton. Maybe I’ll do some yoga there but I’d rather travel to Northcare in okc for my services as they hear needs, address with empathy, and are all around more competent than this facility.

First off, the environment is very tense. Supervisors are rude to employees and treat them disrespectfully. It is obvious that the employees are unhappy and dislike their job. And it seems as if the employees should admitted instead of us. To be a mental health facility, the company seems to be unconcerned about the well-being of their employees. Also check the heating system please, it is in need of repair. Food is nice though.

Such amazing and caring workers! My caseworker Kim is so amazing. I love having her. They're such amazing people who understand what anybody with mental health goes through, and they do as best as they can to help. They are so helpful to find solutions when certain things don't work out and get situated. They're so helpful and they never give up on figuring out what's best for us who are clients!
